Monrovia — A statement from the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) says the Officer-In-Charge, Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitzgerald T. M. Biago, has departed the country to attend the 2025 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Annual Conference and Exposition in the United States of America.
The conference, themed “Chief of Police Conference 2025,” will be held from October 18–21, 2025, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado. It is recognized as the largest global gathering of law enforcement leaders, bringing together thousands of police executives, experts, and professionals from around the world.
The IACP Conference offers extensive educational sessions, networking opportunities, and an interactive exposition hall showcasing modern law enforcement tools and technologies. Over 200 educational sessions covering various aspects of policing and public safety are expected to form part of this year’s event.
DCP Biago’s participation will provide the LDEA the opportunity to strengthen international partnerships, exchange best practices, and foster cooperation with chiefs of police from across the United States and other nations.
Meanwhile, while out of the country, the Deputy Officer-In-Charge for Administration and Investigation, Hon. Ernest T. Tarpeh, will oversee the affairs of the LDEA in consultation with DCP Biago via telephone.
