Monrovia — Montserrado County District 8 Representative Prince Aquency Toles today expressed strong optimism for the future of his constituency, linking local development progress directly to the national ARREST agenda of President Joseph Nyumah Boakai.
In a statement on his Facebook page, Rep. Toles asserted that District #8 “stands to benefit immensely from the ARREST agenda, which promises comprehensive development across all sectors.”
The Montserrado County District 8 lawmaker offered his gratitude to President Boakai for his “courageous leadership in steering Liberia toward a brighter future,” vowing to work with the administration to “nurture our communities, and build a better Liberia, starting with our beloved District #8.”
Rep. Toles’s comments coincided with a key infrastructure development in his district: the Division of Zoning & Land Use Planning at the Ministry of Public Works is moving forward with an initiative to connect 4th Street to Jallah Town through the opening of an alleyway.
“The Division of Zoning & Land Use Planning… is leaving no stone unturned, as it finally connects 4th Street to Jallah Town through its alley opening initiative,” Rep. Toles wrote.
The Montserrado lawmaker concluded his statement on a positive note, assuring his constituents, “Indeed, more prosperous times are ahead for our people.”
The connection of 4th Street to Jallah Town is seen as a major step in easing congestion and improving accessibility within the bustling district.
This connection comes a day after the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) declared the “The_Octopus_Strategy” which will see infrastructure development across Liberia occuring concomitantly.
