Barclayville, Grand Kru County — In a significant move towards promoting good reading skills, Kids Educational Engagement Project has dedicated mini-laboratory to the George Toe Washington Elementary School, and the Joseph Blamoh Toe School in Barclayville.
The turn-over ceremony took place at separate locations, bringing together schools officials, office of the County Education officer, community dwellers among others.
Meanwhile in an interview with reporters on Thursday, October 30, 2025 in Barclayville, the executive director of KEEP Liberia; Mrs. Brenda Brewer Moore disclosed that the initiative is part of the organization efforts in promoting good reading skills among students across the country.
The mini-laboratory project for the two schools according to Kids Educational Engagement project executive director is approximately Twenty Thousand.
Mrs. Moore therefore called on both the schools administration, county education system, and community dwellers for the proper supervision of the facility.
In another development, the program coordinator at KEEP Liberia Mr. Amos Doe called on both schools authority and local stakeholders for proper supervision and monitoring system for the mini-laboratory, stating that the facility should be use for its intended purpose.
He urged schools officials to remain committed in safe-guarding the well-being and long-lasting of those books in the laboratory.
