Monrovia – The Progressive Girls for Transformative Change (PROGAC), a female-focused organization dedicated to empowering young women, has successfully concluded the Learn to Lead Mentorship Program, Cohort II. The initiative continues to equip young women with the skills, confidence, and vision needed to make meaningful contributions to Liberia’s development.
Montserrado County District #14 Representative Kerkula Muka Kamara, who served as Special Guest at the closing ceremony, urged the graduates to embrace their newfound roles in society. He noted that they are no longer ordinary members of the community and must work hard to uphold the values and reputation of the institution that prepared them. Rep. Kamara also pledged his continued support for initiatives that mentor women and increase female participation in national governance.
Ambassador Andrew Saah Kettor, Executive Director of PROGAC, encouraged the graduates to move beyond mentorship and dedicate themselves to national service.
“This is not the end of your journey it is the beginning of your impact,” Amb. Kettor told the graduates. “You have been trained to lead; now is the time to serve your country with integrity, courage, and compassion.”
The leadership of the Learn to Lead Mentorship Program expressed gratitude to the officials and members of (PROGAC), as well as the program’s partners, sponsors.
