Monrovia, Liberia — WoGeS Holdings Liberia Inc. has extended warm Christmas greetings to the Government and people of Liberia, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to promoting road safety and standardized driver training across the country.
Speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Philip Woods, Management and Staff, and the wider community of motorcycle riders, motorists, passengers, pedestrians, and all road users, WoGeS described the Christmas season as a time of reflection, gratitude, and renewed dedication to saving lives on Liberia’s roads.
The company paid tribute to the President of the Republic of Liberia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., the Vice President, members of the Liberian Senate and House of Representatives, the Chief Justice and Associate Justices of the Supreme Court, and all courts of Liberia.
WoGeS also commended the gallant men and women of the Armed Forces of Liberia, as well as the Ministers of Education, Justice, Transport, and Public Works, the Road Safety Secretariat, and civil servants nationwide for their service to the nation.
WoGeS further expressed appreciation to the diplomatic community accredited near Monrovia, foreign business partners, motor vehicle and motorcycle importers and dealers, driver education institutions, and the Liberia National Police for their continued collaboration in advancing road safety initiatives.
The road safety advocate welcomed the ongoing rollout of President Boakai’s ARREST Agenda, particularly components focused on public safety. According to WoGeS, the introduction of a comprehensive road safety curriculum—intended to replace the outdated 1972 Vehicle and Traffic Laws—marks a turning point for Liberia. The reforms are expected to usher in a new era of standardized driver training and evaluation before the issuance of driver’s licenses, a move aimed at reducing road accidents, fatalities, injuries, and indiscipline.
Since 2008, WoGeS has positioned itself as Liberia’s premier road safety training advocate and reaffirmed its commitment to public–private partnership. The institution aligned its work with the United Nations Second Decade of Action for Road Safety (2021–2030) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, while acknowledging the support of international partners including Germany and GIZ, the United Kingdom’s FCDO, the African Development Bank, the European Union, the Global Infrastructure Facility, Road Safety Action International, the National Road Fund of Liberia, Liberia Traffic Management, the World Bank, the OPEC Fund for International Development, the Mano River Union, and other stakeholders.
WoGeS called on all residents and visitors to Liberia to support the national road safety drive by embracing international driving standards, respecting fellow road users, and cooperating with the Liberia National Police in enforcing the emerging Vehicle and Traffic Laws.
As Liberians celebrate the Christmas season, WoGeS Holdings Liberia Inc. wished the nation a joyful Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2026—one characterized by safer roads, fewer accidents, and renewed hope for a better Liberia.
