MONROVIA – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. has announced new appointments to the Yellow Machines Coordinating Committee (YMCC) and the Grand Gedeh University Board of Trustees, effective February 17, 2026.
Strengthening Infrastructure Oversight
In a move to bolster the nation’s infrastructure capabilities, Mr. Paul Swengbe Wilson has been appointed as Deputy Coordinator for Technical Services at the YMCC. His role will focus on enhancing technical oversight and the operational efficiency of the government’s earthmoving equipment across Liberia.
Advancing Higher Education
To support institutional governance and academic growth in the southeast, the President appointed Mr. Samuel Zohnjaty Joe and Mr. William G. Nyanue as members of the Grand Gedeh University Board of Trustees.
A Call to Service
President Boakai congratulated the new officials, urging them to prioritize diligence, professionalism, and dedication in their service to the Republic.
