MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Staff members in the office of Montserrado County District 12 Representative, Hon. Jerry K. Yogboh Sr., have issued a scathing rebuttal against recent media reports suggesting internal strife and “disenchantment” within the lawmaker’s team.
In a formal statement released on February 27, 2026, the staffers described the rumors—which alleged that the team was dissatisfied with Yogboh’s leadership style and accessibility—as “distorted and malicious falsehoods” designed to distract from the district’s progress.
“Shared Leadership” vs. Media Propaganda
The staffers were quick to dismiss claims that the Representative refuses to relate to his subordinates. On the contrary, the group characterized Hon. Yogboh as a practitioner of shared leadership, regularly soliciting input from staff, community leaders, and constituents alike.
“We want to unequivocally state for the record that at no time have we expressed dissatisfaction or a non-compliant posture against our humble leader,” the statement read. “Hon. Yogboh is a leader who believes in the principle and value of shared leadership.”
“How can we be disenchanted with such a compassionate leader?” the staffers questioned, describing their boss as “down-to-earth and flexible.”
A United Front
The release concluded with a formal reaffirmation of “never-ending support, commitment, and allegiance” to the Representative. The staffers emphasized that they remain focused on the legislative agenda and the promises made to the people of District 12, vowing to remain professional despite “mere propaganda.”
To emphasize the authenticity of the rebuttal, the release was accompanied by a comprehensive list of names and signatures from the office personnel, signaling a unified front against the rumors.
