Capitol Hill, Monrovia – By directive of the Chief Justice of Liberia, His Honor Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay,Sr., the Civil Service Agency(CSA) will begin the conduct of a Personnel Verification and Credential Audit of the Judiciary on August 28, 2025.
In a statement released in Monrovia today, August 27,2025 under the signature of the Director of Public Information and Strategic Planning, Cllr. Ambrose Nmah, the exercise is in fulfillment of Chief Justice Gbeisay’s commitment to ensure that all staff of the Judiciary have the required academic qualification on the job.
The seven days exercise according to the Judiciary will end on September 4, 2025 and is mandatory for all staff of the Judiciary.
In line with the Chief Justice’s directive, the CSA has constituted three teams to carry out the exercise.
The CSA will simultaneously carry out the Personnel Verification and Credential Audit at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia, Paynesville Magisterial Courts, Careysburg, Bensonville and Todee Magisterial Courts.
Also, the credential verification exercise will cover the Gardnersville, Bushrod Island,Brewerville and Arthington Magisterial Courts.
According to the report, the personnel verification is intended to ensure that all Judiciary staff on the government’s payroll are accounted for, while the credential audit is to ensure that personnel have requisite qualification and experience to effectively perform their duties.
It can be recalled that upon taking Seat as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia on August 15, 2025, His Honor Yamie Quiqui Gbeisay,Sr. promised to cautiously continue the rebranding of the Judiciary.
“We will conduct what I call ‘credentual audits’ to ensure that all staff of the Judiciary have the required academic qualification and experience to effectively perform their assigned duties,” Chief Justice Gbeisay stated.
