Monrovia — The New Horizon Charity Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Commissioner Edward Horton Lahai of the Township of Oldest Congo Town, aimed at empowering 100 women and girls through a skills training program.
The partnership focuses on the implementation of a Women Empowerment and Skills Training Program, which will provide 100 women and girls within the township with practical vocational skills to promote self-reliance and economic independence.

The New Horizon Charity Foundation described the initiative as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable groups and creating opportunities for sustainable livelihoods.
Commissioner Edward Horton Lahai welcomed the collaboration, noting that the program will positively impact the lives of women and girls within the Township of Oldest Congo Town.
He also assured the foundation of his office’s full support in ensuring the smooth implementation of the initiative.
The signing of the MOU marks the beginning of a focused partnership between the New Horizon Charity Foundation and the Township of Oldest Congo Town, with both parties committed to delivering meaningful empowerment opportunities to 100 women and girls in the community.
