Monrovia, Liberia — Sinoe District #3 Lawmaker Challenges Graduates to Become Agents of Change and National Development
Sinoe County Electoral District #3 Representative, Hon. Alex S. Noah, has cautioned graduates of the 4Life Vocational and Professional Training Program to remain disciplined, focused, and determined as they move into the next phase of their academic and professional journeys.
Speaking during an impressive graduation ceremony attended by students, educators, parents, and invited guests, Representative Noah urged the graduates not to allow distractions, bad influences, or temporary setbacks to destroy the future they are working hard to build.
According to the Sinoe County lawmaker, the knowledge and skills acquired through vocational and professional education should not only serve as a pathway to personal success but also as a tool for transforming communities and contributing to national development.
“You are leaving here today with knowledge, training, and opportunities that many young people are still searching for. Do not misuse this opportunity. Stay disciplined, remain focused, and continue striving for excellence,” Representative Noah told the graduates.
The District #3 Representative emphasized that Liberia’s future depends heavily on young people who are willing to work hard, uphold integrity, and use their education to create positive change within society.
He further encouraged the graduates to avoid negative peer pressure, violence, substance abuse, and other activities that could damage their reputation and derail their ambitions.
Representative Noah noted that vocational and technical education continue to play a critical role in reducing unemployment and empowering young people with practical skills capable of creating jobs and promoting self-reliance across Liberia.
The Sinoe lawmaker also praised the administration and instructors of the 4Life Vocational and Professional Institution for their continued commitment to youth empowerment and human capacity development.
He described the institution as one of the important centers helping to prepare Liberia’s younger generation for future leadership and economic productivity.
Representative Noah additionally challenged the graduates to become ambassadors of discipline, professionalism, and responsibility within their respective communities, stressing that true success is measured not only by certificates earned but by character, impact, and service to humanity.
Parents and guardians attending the program applauded the lawmaker’s message, describing it as timely and inspiring for young people navigating increasing social and economic pressures.
The graduation ceremony brought together dozens of students who successfully completed studies in various vocational and professional disciplines, marking another milestone in the institution’s effort to strengthen youth development and skills training in Liberia.
