Monrovia, Liberia – The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) has officially initiated a fund-drive for the construction of its new headquarters. The CDC Headquarters Construction Committee announced on today, September 4, 2025, that it has established multiple channels for partisans, sympathizers, and well-wishers to contribute financially and with building materials.
In a statement signed by Oliver N. Kyne, Head of Communications/Public Affairs for the committee, the party outlined various methods for making financial contributions. For local donations, the committee has set up a bank account with UBA, with separate accounts for USD and Liberian Dollars. The USD account number is 53030030053372, and the LRD account number is 53030030053389.
The committee has also embraced modern mobile payment platforms, accepting contributions via MTN MoMo, Orange Money, TIP-ME, and Sendwave. The official mobile money numbers are 0881-727-272 for MTN MoMo and 0777-222-444 for Orange Money. The TIP-ME account is CIBMOOO51, and the Sendwave number is 0887444330.
For international supporters, the committee has provided detailed instructions for SWIFT wire transfers. The designated correspondent bank is Citibank New York, and the beneficiary is the CDC HQ Project Account at United Bank for Africa (Liberia) Ltd. The beneficiary’s account number for these transfers is 53030030053372. The statement also noted that details for contributions via Zelle and Cash App would be rolled out at a later date.
Beyond financial donations, the committee is also soliciting contributions of building materials, tools, and other essential equipment. Those interested in making such donations are advised to call the provided MoMo phone numbers for further instructions.
Kyne’s statement concluded by thanking supporters for their commitment and announced that the official groundbreaking date for the project would be announced in the coming days. The new headquarters is envisioned as a “state-of-the-art” facility for the party. Following the fund-drive announcement, Acting CDC Chairman, Atty. Janga Augutus Kowo said, “We are ready with the CDC new Headquarter Donations. Kindly make your contributions in one of the many ways listed”, stressing, “Indeed, we will turn setbacks into a great comeback”, Kowo said.
