Monrovia, Liberia – ELSIE Renewable Energy Power Solution, a Liberian-owned solar energy company, has extended a generous gesture to the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) with the donation of four high-powered solar streetlights to illuminate the Agency’s national headquarters in Fiamah, Sinkor, a statement issued in Monrovia has said.
Making the donation on behalf of Mr. Adolphus Kayah, Chief Executive Officer of ELSIE Renewable Energy Power Solution, company representative Mr. Lusine Kromah said the initiative forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to support national institutions that play a key role in protecting Liberians from the dangers of substance abuse.
He emphasized that ELSIE Renewable remains committed to partnering with government and security agencies to enhance safety and promote sustainable development through clean energy solutions.
Receiving the donation, Col. Ernest T. Tarpeh, Deputy Officer-in-Charge for Administration and Investigation at the LDEA, expressed appreciation to the management of ELSIE Renewable for the timely support. He noted that the solar lights will greatly improve visibility and security at the Agency’s headquarters, especially during nighttime operations.
Col. Tarpeh further assured the company and the public that the LDEA remains dedicated to combating the illegal drug trade and holding accountable those involved in the distribution and sale of narcotics across Liberia.
