Monrovia — The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) today announced it has taken immediate administrative action against one of its personnel, Agent Ayouba A. Kromah, following a serious breach of professional ethics. The action stems from a recent Facebook post by Agent Kromah concerning Suspect Karwordou Cole, widely known as “Bucky Raw.”
The LDEA described the conduct as a serious breach of professional ethics and entirely unacceptable, underscoring the agency’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
“Effective immediately, Agent Ayouba A. Kromah is not authorized to conduct any business or represent the LDEA in any capacity until further notice”, a statement from the LDEA warned.
The LDEA furthered that it is taking this measure to ensure public trust and the integrity of its operations.
“The Authority of the LDEA meanwhile asks all officers of the agency to refrain from all acts that will undermine the fight against drugs. They should serve with professionalism, integrity, and accountability at all times, this should be a warning to all other officers,” the statement continued.
The agency emphasized that all officers are expected to adhere strictly to the rules of conduct and accountability.
Meanwhile, The LDEA urges the public to continue its support in the crucial fight against drug trafficking. Citizens are encouraged to report any suspicious activities through the official LDEA hotlines: 0777133333 / 0888133333.
