Monrovia – About 40 staff members of the National Elections Commission of Liberia (NEC-Liberia) are set to begin an in-house computer literacy training program aimed at enhancing digital skills and workplace efficiency.
The exercise, coordinated by the Administration Department through Human Resource, is being facilitated by IT Section and Broadcast Technicians, Jickson Freeman and Emmanuel Cheeseman.
Speaking at the orientation on Monday, 6 October 2025, NEC Deputy Executive Director for Administration, Samuel B. Cole, commended the staff for their enthusiasm to learn and urged them to take the training seriously, emphasizing that “no education is a waste.”
The 6-week training targets both beginners and intermediate learners, with successful participants set to receive certificates of participation and achievement.
This initiative is part of the Commission’s continuous effort to strengthen its human resource capacity and promote digital literacy among its workforce.
