Monrovia — The Inspector General of the Liberia National Police (LNP), Hon. Gregory O. W. Coleman, Today, 28th August 2025, held a productive acquaintance meeting with H.E. Manoj Bihari Verma, Ambassador of the Republic of India accredited to Liberia.
The meeting, which lasted more than an hour, focused on expanding cooperation between the Liberia National Police and the Government of India. Ambassador Verma expressed his government’s willingness to deepen relations with the LNP through targeted capacity‑building initiatives. He outlined India’s intent to offer training opportunities for Liberian police officers in specialized fields such as cyber security, forensic science, media relations, criminal investigations, and other technical areas essential to modern policing.
Inspector General Coleman thanked Ambassador Verma for India’s longstanding friendship with Liberia and emphasized the LNP’s commitment to leveraging these opportunities to strengthen the institution and improve national service delivery. He said the Government and people of India remain a valued partner in the LNP’s pursuit of professionalism and excellence.
The meeting was attended by senior LNP officials, including Deputy Commissioner of Police Sam K. Collins, Chief of International Relations.
