Monrovia, Liberia | The Ministry of Education has welcomed the second cohort of volunteer STEM teachers from the Federal Republic of Nigeria, marking another milestone in the Liberia–Nigeria Bilateral Education Support Program, a statement has said.
The teachers will be deployed across eight counties to strengthen classroom instruction, promote inclusive learning, and support the Ministry of Education in filling the gap for STEM instruction.
In remarks at the welcoming ceremony, the Minister of Education reaffirmed that empowered and well-supported teachers remain the foundation of quality education, critical to improving STEM learning outcomes and achieving national transformation goals.
She expressed appreciation to the Government and People of Nigeria for their continued partnership and solidarity in advancing education and human development across West Africa.
“Together, we are building stronger STEM classrooms, deeper cooperation, and a shared future of learning across our region,” a statement from MOE concluded.
