Capitol Hill, Monrovia — The office of Hon. Jerry Korlubah Yogboh Sr., Representative of District 12 in Montserrado County, has announced the promotion of John Scere as Chief of Office Staff (COS), effective immediately.
According to the release, Mr. Scere’s promotion is based on his extensive administrative experience, strong strategic coordination skills, and demonstrated commitment to public service.
The appointment comes at a critical period as the office intensifies its legislative engagement, expands community outreach programs, and strengthens development coordination across the district.
As Chief of Office Staff, Mr. Scere will be responsible for:
Overseeing the daily operations of the Representative’s office;
Coordinating legislative research and policy support;
Supervising administrative and technical personnel;
Strengthening stakeholder engagement throughout District 12;
Supporting the implementation of district development initiatives; and
Liaising with government ministries, agencies, and community leaders.
Representative Yogboh said the promotion reflects the office’s continued commitment to professionalism, accountability, and effective service delivery.
“Mr. Scere’s leadership will enhance the efficiency of the office as we work tirelessly for the good people of District 12,” the lawmaker stated.
He further reaffirmed his office’s dedication to advancing infrastructure development, youth empowerment, access to healthcare, community safety, and economic opportunities within District 12 and beyond.
