MONROVIA – Montserrado County District 12 Representative Jerry Kolubah Yogboh has vowed to launch a comprehensive road rehabilitation project across his district ahead of the upcoming rainy season.
The lawmaker shared these plans during his appearance on Prime FM’s flagship program, Inside the Legislature, on Friday, February 20, 2026. Addressing concerns regarding local infrastructure, Rep. Yogboh emphasized that road work is a top priority for his administration over the next two months.
Immediate Action Plans
According to Rep. Yogboh, the initiative is part of a broader development strategy, but the immediate focus remains on accessibility before the weather shifts.
“We have a long-term legislative development plan spanning the next few years,” Rep. Yogboh explained. “However, for the next month or two, we are resuming our road rehabilitation works. We aim to rehabilitate all roads within this final portion of the quarter before the legislative break.”
Impact on Constituents
The planned upgrades are expected to bring much-needed relief to the residents of District 12. Currently, deplorable road conditions significantly hamper the movement of people, goods, and essential services. By prioritizing these repairs now, the lawmaker aims to prevent the seasonal gridlock that typically plagues the area during the heavy rains.
