Monrovia, Liberia – After months of legal uncertainty and internal disputes, the Civil Law Court in Monrovia has ruled in favor of the Federation of Liberian Youths (FLY), officially recognizing Ernest Duku Jallah as the legitimate president of the organization.
The ruling, handed down following a prolonged legal battle over the leadership of the youth institution, is being described by supporters as a major victory for constitutional order and organizational stability within the Federation.
According to court documents, the Civil Law Court determined that the processes leading to Jallah’s leadership were consistent with the organization’s governing framework, thereby affirming his authority to lead the Federation of Liberian Youths.
The decision effectively settles months of controversy that had divided members of the youth body and sparked competing claims to the presidency.
Following the verdict, supporters of Jallah celebrated the outcome, calling on all members of the Federation to unite and move the institution forward in the interest of Liberian youth development.
Speaking shortly after the ruling, Jallah welcomed the court’s decision and emphasized reconciliation, unity, and renewed commitment to advancing opportunities for young people across Liberia.
“This victory is not just for Ernest Duku Jallah, but for the rule of law and the future of Liberian youths,” he stated.
The court’s ruling is expected to bring an end to the leadership dispute and pave the way for the Federation to resume normal operations after a period of tension and uncertainty.
