Monrovia — The Liberia Revenue Authority and the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning today held a strategic meeting to review mid-year revenue performance and align efforts toward achieving the government of Liberia’s US$1.2 billion domestic revenue target.
Chaired by Minister of Finance and Development Planning Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan and attended by LRA Commissioner General James Dorbor Jallah and senior officials from both institutions, the meeting assessed revenue performance for the first half of Fiscal Year 2026 and identified strategic actions needed to sustain the strong momentum in domestic revenue mobilization during the remaining months of the fiscal year.
Minister Ngafuan commended CG Jallah and team for their strong performance despite a challenging economic environment, noting that Liberia’s recent revenue achievements have strengthened international confidence in the country’s domestic resource mobilization efforts.
In response, Commissioner General Jallah thanked the minister for his continued support and attributed the Authority’s success to the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of LRA employees. He reaffirmed the LRA’s commitment to strengthening revenue administration through innovation, collaboration, and continuous institutional improvement to help achieve the government’s fiscal objectives and advance Liberia’s national development agenda.
