MONROVIA, Liberia — The Office of Diaspora Affairs Republic of Liberia has announced the development of two flagship projects—Liberia Diaspora TV and Miss Diaspora Liberia—aimed at bridging the gap between Liberians living abroad and their home country.
The dual projects are framed as legacy initiatives designed to build a dynamic digital platform for information sharing while celebrating culture, youth leadership, and civic participation across global communities.
Dynamic Platforms for Global Engagement
The upcoming initiatives target two distinct avenues of community connection: Liberia Diaspora TV: A dedicated broadcasting and media platform intended to keep citizens in the diaspora informed about domestic policies, economic investments, cultural events, and community developments.
Miss Diaspora Liberia: A flagship cultural initiative focusing on youth empowerment, heritage preservation, and civic engagement among young Liberian women living abroad.
“These two initiatives are designed to connect, inform, empower, and engage Liberians across the diaspora while strengthening their connection with Liberia,” the office said in a public statement.
Call for Volunteers and Team Members
To bring these initiatives to life, the Office of Diaspora Affairs is issuing an open call for dedicated volunteers and technical specialists to join the planning and execution teams.
The government body is recruiting professionals and advocates with backgrounds or interests in media, broadcasting, and content production, cultural event management and logistics, youth empowerment and community leadership and public relations and global outreach.

The project announcement has gathered early support across international Liberian networks, including organizers associated with the annual Liberia Diaspora Conference, regional groups like the Liberian Community in Rwanda (Libcor), and diaspora broadcast partners.
