Paynesville, Liberia: — The Liberia Revenue Authority has been recognized with the 2025 Excellence Performance Award, highlighting its outstanding contribution to domestic revenue mobilization and public sector performance.
The award, presented by Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., forms part of the Government of Liberia’s Performance Management and Compliance System (PMCS), which celebrates institutions demonstrating excellence in efficiency, accountability, and results-driven service delivery.
Under the leadership of James Dorbor Jallah, the LRA continues to implement key reforms aimed at strengthening transparency, improving systems, and optimizing revenue collection.

In 2025, the LRA generated US$847.1 million in domestic revenue—surpassing its target by US$42.4 million, the highest ever recorded in Liberia’s history.
Speaking after the ceremony, Commissioner General Jallah commended taxpayers for their continued commitment to national development and praised LRA staff for their dedication and professionalism.
The LRA remains committed to strengthening revenue systems and supporting Liberia’s development priorities through innovation, integrity, and service.
