Executive Mansion, Monrovia: — President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has received Letters of Credence from four newly accredited Ambassadors; representing Kenya, Italy, Denmark and Bangladesh.
Receiving the letters on Monday, May 25, 2026, President Boakai, in separate engagements, conveyed warm greetings on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia and lauded the Ambassadors for accepting accreditation to Liberia while reflecting on the long-standing relationship Liberia has with Kenya, Italy, Denmark and Bangladesh.
“We are grateful to have you here as an ambassador to this country. We hope that during your stay here, you will find Liberia as a country that you will enjoy working with.” President Boakai.
The Chief Architect of Liberia Foreign Policy assured each newly accredited Ambassador to Liberia of his government’s efforts to enhancing partnership with their respective nation to promote shared prosperity.
The President highlighted International Relations, trade and Investment, mining and geology, agriculture, health, and tourism as key areas of cooperation that can significantly enhance bilaterial relations between Liberia and the nation each represents. He added that these areas present vast opportunities for fostering mutual growth and shared prosperity.
In particular, to the Kenyan Ambassador, the President reiterated the government request for the opening of a Kenya Embassy in Monrovia. He asserted that the opening of the embassy would facilitate visa and consulate operations and make the two nations interactions more effective.
The Liberian Leader further committed his government’s interest in collaborating with Kenya and the International Community in shared endeavor to ensure peace and security across Africa and the one world.
Responding to the President’s charge at a specific interval, respectively:
His Excellency Isaac Keen Parashina, Ambassador of Kenya accredited to Liberia spoke on behalf of President William Ruto, the government and people of Kenya. He conveyed tidings of peace and promised to work with the Government of Liberia in the interest of the bilateral relationship between Liberia and Kenya.
Her Excellency, Roberta Di Lecce, Ambassador accredited to Cote D’Ivoire with concurrent Accreditation to Liberia and Sierra Leone, on behalf of the Italian government presented her accreditation and express optimism in working with the Government of Liberia for the benefit of the two countries. “I hope that my mission will continue to serve for the benefit of the people of the two countries.”
On behalf of the Danish Government and its people, His Excellency Jakob Linulf conveyed good tidings and expressed pride in representing the Kingdom of Denmark, in particular King Fedrick the 10th and commit to working with the Government in strengthening Liberia-Denmark bilateral relations for the benefit of the two countries.
For his part, His Excellency Miah MD. Mainul Kabir – Ambassador of Bangladesh accredited to Liberia also presented his letter of credence and expressed pride in being assigned to Liberia and committed to enhancing Liberia-Bangladish relations.
The Liberian Leader concluded by assuring each Ambassador to strengthen and improve the already existing bilateral relations between Liberia and their respective countries and committed his government’s support to working with each nation in the interest of shared prosperity, while sending out tidings to Presidents, Kings and people of their respective countries.
