Sinoe County — Representative Alex S. Noah of Sinoe County District #3 has demonstrated renewed commitment to education and community development with the donation of a brand new sixteen (16) seater bus to the Juarzon and Tarjouwon Statutory Districts.
The presentation ceremony, held over the weekend, brought together local authorities, educators, students, and residents from across the two statutory districts. According to Representative Noah, the bus is intended to ease transportation challenges faced by students, teachers, and community members, particularly during academic and official activities.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rep. Noah emphasized that education remains a cornerstone for sustainable development in Sinoe County and Liberia at large. He called on stakeholders, including parents, school administrators, and local leaders, to work collectively toward improving the quality of education in the district.
“Education is the backbone of every progressive society. If we are serious about developing our district, then we must prioritize the learning environment of our children,” Rep. Noah stated.
In addition to the bus donation, Representative Noah also announced a cash donation of Four Hundred Thousand Liberian Dollars (LD 400,000) to the five statutory districts of District #3, Sinoe County. Each statutory district received Eighty Thousand Liberian Dollars (LD 80,000) to support Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting that the financial support came at a crucial time when communities are preparing to celebrate the festive season amid economic challenges.
Local leaders from Juarzon and Tarjouwon praised Rep. Noah for what they described as “practical leadership,” highlighting that the bus will significantly reduce transportation constraints, especially for school-related programs and community engagements.
Residents say the latest interventions further strengthen Representative Noah’s relationship with his constituents and reflect his ongoing efforts to address grassroots needs.
Many have urged him to continue advocating for improved infrastructure, education, and social services across Sinoe County District #3.
As the festive season approaches, community members say the donations have not only boosted morale but also renewed hope for continued development under Representative Noah’s leadership.
