MONROVIA, Liberia – The President of the National Customs Brokers Association (NCBA), James L. Hinneh, has extended a heartfelt message of encouragement and prayer to students across Liberia, urging them to remain committed to their education while trusting God for protection, wisdom, and success.
Speaking on the importance of education as a foundation for national development, Mr. Hinneh described students as the country’s greatest asset and future leaders. He emphasized that every child deserves the opportunity to pursue education in a safe and secure environment, free from fear and uncertainty.
“As our students continue their academic journey, I pray that the Almighty God will watch over them wherever they go. May He grant them wisdom, understanding, good health, strength, and the determination to overcome every obstacle that may stand in their way,” Mr. Hinneh said.
He continued, “It is my sincere prayer that no student will be brought home in sorrow. May every learner be divinely protected and preserved throughout the school year. Instead of tears, may families celebrate the successful completion of their children’s education and witness them grow into responsible and productive citizens. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
The NCBA President also called on students to remain focused on their academic responsibilities by avoiding activities that could derail their future. He encouraged them to embrace discipline, honesty, hard work, and respect for authority while striving for excellence in their studies.
Mr. Hinneh further appealed to parents and guardians to remain actively involved in the lives of their children by providing moral guidance, emotional support, and encouragement throughout their educational journey. He noted that the success of students depends not only on their individual efforts but also on the commitment of families, educators, and communities.
He also recognized the vital role of teachers and school administrators, describing them as partners in shaping Liberia’s next generation of leaders. He urged educational institutions to continue fostering safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environments that promote academic excellence and character development.
According to Mr. Hinneh, investing in education is one of the most effective ways to secure Liberia’s future. He stressed that the nation stands to benefit when its young people are empowered with knowledge, skills, and strong moral values.
Concluding his message, the NCBA President reaffirmed his confidence in Liberia’s students and expressed hope that, with God’s guidance and the collective support of society, they would overcome challenges, achieve academic success, and make meaningful contributions to national development.
“Our students are the hope of tomorrow. Let us continue to pray for them, support them, and inspire them to become the leaders our nation needs. May God bless and protect every student throughout their educational journey,” Mr. Hinneh concluded.
