Monrovia — The Liberia Movie Union in collaboration with the “House of Stars” today, officially launched “Season 3” of the reality TV Show in Monrovia.
The launched of the highly anticipated event coincides with an audition by organizers in Monrovia. Hosted by Sierra Leone, the event will feature participants from fellow Mano River Union (MRU) neighbors Liberia and Guinea.
“House of Stars Season 3” has life changing prizes that according to organizers will transform the life of winner.
Making specific reference to Liberia and Sierra Leone, the organizers highlighted the gap in representation from both countries in the entertainment ecosystem, arguing that lifestyle of stars from both countries does not reflect their status.
Organizers stressed that the show is primarily intended to fail the void left by such huge disparity which is a major challenge for stars from the three West African nations.
A 3-bedroom House, a car and cash prize of US$ 10,000 has been set aside as grand prize for the winner at the end of the show. However, one must have influence or good followings especially on social media to make it to the house.
With specific reference to the 3-bedroom duplex, program organizers clarified that, should a Liberian emerge winner, a land for the construction of the house in Liberia has already been secured.
For their part, Liberia Movie Union called on Liberians to support Liberia’s representatives at this year’s edition of the show in order to bring the prize home and make Liberia proud.
Season 2 of the event saw four Liberian participants which was won by Lolo Simeone in February of this year.
