Monrovia, Liberia — President of the National Customs Brokers Association of Liberia (NCBAL) James L Hinneh has extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to Muslims across Liberia and around the world in celebration of Abraham Day.
Speaking on behalf of the Association, the NCBAL President described Abraham Day as a significant occasion that symbolizes faith, sacrifice, humility, obedience, and devotion to God. He noted that the celebration serves as a reminder of the enduring legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), known in Christianity and Judaism as Abraham, whose life continues to inspire millions around the world.
According to the statement, Prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and obedience to God represent powerful lessons in patience, trust, sacrifice, and steadfastness, especially during challenging times. The NCBAL President emphasized that Abraham’s story encourages people to remain committed to righteousness, compassion, and purposeful living.
The Association further called on Liberians to use the occasion as an opportunity to strengthen peace, national unity, religious tolerance, and mutual respect among citizens regardless of religious or ethnic background.
“Our diversity remains one of our greatest strengths as a people, and together we can continue to build a peaceful, united, and prosperous Liberia,” the statement noted.
The NCBAL President also prayed for peace, happiness, and divine blessings for all Muslims celebrating Abraham Day, wishing them strength in faith, joy in their families, and success in their endeavors.
