Monrovia, Liberia – Representative Alex S. Noah of Sinoe County Electoral District #3 has submitted a formal communication to the Plenary of the House of Representatives, requesting its approval to invite the Chairperson of the National Elections Commission (NEC) to appear before lawmakers and provide an update on the whereabouts of Sinoe County’s Senior Elections Magistrate.
According to the communication, Representative Noah is seeking clarity on the status of the county’s Senior Elections Magistrate and wants the NEC to explain the circumstances surrounding the official’s whereabouts.
The lawmaker believes the matter is of significant public interest, particularly as the National Elections Commission plays a critical role in managing electoral activities across the country. He is urging Plenary to engage the NEC leadership to ensure lawmakers and the public receive accurate information on the issue.
If approved, the NEC Chairperson will be expected to appear before the House to respond to lawmakers’ concerns and provide a detailed update regarding the status of Sinoe County’s Senior Elections Magistrate.
