Monrovia, Liberia — The Sinoeans Based in Montserrado Association (SBMA) has commended Crayton Oldman Duncan for what it describes as a transformative investment in the lives of young people from Sinoe County through vocational and technical education.
According to Isaac Claudio Manneh, Secretary General of SBMA, Senator Duncan’s intervention has provided 50 members of SBMA with valuable opportunities to acquire practical skills aimed at promoting self-reliance, economic empowerment, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
He added that the initiative officially commenced in November 2025, with beneficiaries enrolled in several vocational disciplines including electricity, plumbing, pastry, catering, computer studies, interior decoration, and other technical fields.
The manneh further revealed that the Senator covered all expenses associated with the program, including registration fees, uniforms, and graduation requirements, significantly easing the financial burden on participating students and their families.
“This initiative has created meaningful opportunities for young people from Sinoe County to acquire practical skills and prepare for a better future,” the statement noted. “Senator Duncan’s support reflects his strong commitment to youth empowerment and human capacity development.”
SBMA announced that beneficiaries of the program are expected to graduate this Saturday after completing their respective courses of study at the institution.
The organization praised Senator Duncan for prioritizing education and vocational empowerment, noting that such interventions remain critical to addressing unemployment and strengthening community development across Sinoe County.
At the same time, SBMA called on other leaders and stakeholders of Sinoe County to emulate similar initiatives by investing in education, technical training, and youth empowerment programs that directly impact the lives of young people.
