MONROVIA — The Liberia Special Economic Zones Authority (LSEZA) today participated in the Michigan–Liberia Trade Forum, held at the Cecil Dennis Auditorium at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the theme “Advancing Trade, Investment and Strategic Partnerships,” the forum serves as a vital bridge connecting international companies, institutions, and investors with public sector leaders. The initiative aims to drive trade, boost economic cooperation, and channel investment into Liberia’s priority sectors to support the nation’s broader development agenda.

Representing LSEZA, Director of Legal Affairs Atty. Ebenezer Wilson delivered a comprehensive presentation detailing the country’s Special Economic Zones programs.
During his address, Atty. Wilson highlighted the Authority’s mandate, emphasized the diverse investment opportunities within the zones, and underscored the pivotal role SEZs play in accelerating industrialization, generating employment, and making Liberia a highly competitive destination for global capital.

Atty. Wilson was accompanied at the forum by Mr. William Kawalawu, Senior Coordinator for the Public Sector Investment Project, and Mr. Daniel Ankrah, Corporate Communications Manager.
