MONROVIA, LIBERIA — The National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) held its quarterly General Staff Meeting, bringing together employees from across the Institute to discuss institutional priorities, operational updates, and staff-related matters.
The meeting provided a platform for the Interim Director General, Dr. Sia Wata Camanor, and members of the Senior Management Team to share key institutional developments, outline strategic priorities, and engage staff in an open dialogue on issues affecting the organization and its workforce.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Camanor underscored the importance of teamwork, professionalism, transparency, and accountability in advancing NPHIL’s mandate to protect and promote the health of the Liberian people.

She encouraged staff to remain committed to excellence, collaboration, and innovation as the Institute continues to strengthen the country’s public health systems and emergency preparedness capacity.
Dr. Camanor also reaffirmed Management’s commitment to fostering a supportive work environment by addressing staff concerns, enhancing communication, and promoting initiatives that improve employee welfare and institutional effectiveness.
The General Staff Meeting reflects NPHIL’s commitment to strengthening internal communication, promoting unity across departments, and ensuring that employees remain informed and actively engaged in achieving the Institute’s strategic objectives.
