Mustapha I. Raji has been re-elected unopposed as President of the Liberia Football Association for a third four-year term.
The decision was confirmed at the 30th LFA Ordinary Congress held at the LFA Headquarters in Congo Town on Friday, 15 May, extending his leadership of the organization until 2030.
President Raji’s re-election comes on the heels of a transformative second term, where the LFA shifted its focus toward infrastructure and grassroots sustainability.
His leadership has been characterized by infrastructure development, financial integrity, strengthening the LFA’s relationship with FIFA and CAF through improved transparency and accountability in the use of development funds, and the significant increase in investment for youth leagues and women’s football..
“Congratulations to President Raji on this decisive mandate,” an official statement from the LFA said.
“We wish him continued success as he guides Liberian football toward even greater heights through 2030.”
Raji election comes following a court battle with team Team Cassell representative Anthony Cassell Kouh who was deemed unqualified due to his previous conviction in the United States.
